We only collect the information you choose to give us through our forms, plus the limited technical data that is needed to deliver and protect the website. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools on this website.

Information You Provide

• Contact Form: When you send us a message, we collect your name, your email address, and the details you write in the message.
• Career Applications: When you apply for an open role, we collect your full name and email address, and, depending on the role, your phone number, date of birth, gender, profile photo, CV/resume, cover letter, short bio, skills, work experience, education history, and links to projects or portfolios. Fields marked as optional can be left blank.
• Email: If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message and attachments.

Please do not include sensitive information (for example health data, religious or political views, or identification numbers) in free-text fields or documents unless it is necessary for your application.

Information Collected Automatically

• Request Data: To deliver pages to you, our hosting providers necessarily process technical request details such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. We do not store website access logs or build usage profiles from this data.
• Spam and Bot Protection: Our contact and application forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. When you use a form, Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser and device (such as your IP address and browser characteristics) to confirm that you are a human and not an automated bot.

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

• Theme Preference: If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the website remembers it on your next visit. This value stays on your device and is never sent to us.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: When a form loads, Cloudflare may use strictly necessary storage or cookies on its own domain to perform the bot check. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
• Third-Party Links: If you follow a link to another service, such as Calendly to book a call or our social media pages, that service's own cookie and privacy policies apply.

Because we only use storage that is strictly necessary or saves a preference you set yourself, we do not show a cookie consent banner.

We process your personal data under the following legal bases (including Article 6 of the GDPR):

1. Legitimate Interests: To reply to your inquiries, discuss potential projects, and keep the website secure and protected from spam and abuse.
2. Pre-contractual Steps: To evaluate your application when you apply for a role, or to prepare a proposal when you ask us for one.
3. Consent: Where you choose to provide optional information in your application, or ask us to keep your application on file for future roles. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

We use this information to:

• Respond to your messages and follow up on business inquiries.
• Review job applications and run our hiring process.
• Protect our website and forms from spam, fraud, and malicious activity.
• Diagnose technical problems and keep the website running.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it. Information such as gender or date of birth is only requested when it is relevant to a specific role and is never used to discriminate against applicants.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, and only as far as they need it to provide their service:

• Website Hosting and Delivery: Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosts and delivers this website.
• Backend, CRM, and Recruitment Systems: Form submissions and application files are stored in Codevider's internal CRM and recruitment system, hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in the European Union, and accessible only to authorized team members.
• Bot Protection: Cloudflare, Inc. provides the Turnstile check on our forms.
• Email: Google Workspace (Google) provides our email service, so messages you send to us directly are processed by Google.

International Transfers

Codevider is based in Albania. Your form data is stored on servers in the European Union (Hetzner), while some of our other service providers (AWS, Cloudflare, and Google) may process data in the United States or other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy:

• Contact Messages: Kept for as long as we are in contact with you, and deleted no later than two (2) years after our last communication if no business relationship follows.
• Job Applications: If you are not hired, your application and uploaded files are deleted twelve (12) months after the hiring process for the role ends, unless you agree to let us keep them for future roles. If you are hired, relevant information becomes part of your employee record.
• Technical Data: We do not keep website access logs. Request data is processed only as long as needed to deliver the page, and Cloudflare Turnstile data is handled according to Cloudflare's own retention policy.

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EU/UK under GDPR, or US states like California under CCPA/CPRA), you possess specific, legally enforceable rights regarding your personal information:

• Access and Portability: The right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Rectification: The right to compel us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): The right to request that we permanently delete your data, subject to certain legal exceptions (e.g., tax or compliance obligations).
• Restriction & Objection: The right to object to or restrict our processing of your data based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
• Withdrawal of Consent: Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that already took place.
• Non-Discrimination: US residents have the absolute right not to receive discriminatory service or price adjustments for exercising their privacy choices.
